Jin Kim Diep is a designated Solution-Focused Therapist. Her mission is to help those in their healing journey through counselling. Specifically, she works with people who have difficulty saying no, putting themselves first over others and as a result experience burn out. Burn-out creates both physical and emotional disease. She also work with people who are experiencing depression after the ending of a significant relationship (person or professional) and help them recognize their own strengths on this new journey alone. She is passionate about mental health and empowering women to believe in themselves. She is also an advocate for awareness of violence against children, women, and animals. She is also a poet and speaker.
Jin earned an Honours degree in Psychology at York University, a graduate degree in Behavioural Analysis at Brock University, and a graduate certification in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy at OISE, University of Toronto. She is also certified in Mindfulness Cognitive Therapy through the Centre of Mindfulness Studies. She has led over 100 meditations in the GTA. In 2020, she won the Jason Kelly Leadership Award from University of Toronto for her contributions in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Other certifications include NLP, Hypnotherapy, and Siam Reiki level 2.
